Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager - Accounting & Reporting in Franklin, TN. This opportunity will require you to work on a hybrid basis from the Franklin, TN office.

In this opportunity you will have flexibility and local support with high visibility in many different business units, while overseeing a $10B + scope.

What will you do?


  • You will be accountable for managing the compliance, effectiveness and efficiency of the US Financial Reporting and Consolidations Team

  • You will collaborate with different stakeholders across the Finance organization and establish procedures and controls to ensure adherence to IFRS and GAAP accounting standards and company policies and procedures.

  • Ensure that all financial statements are reported timely to the Parent Company

  • Be responsible for accuracy, timelines and the general integrity of the accounting function and related reports

  • Possess strong Technical Accounting Expertis

  • Be able to influence, collaborate & effectiveness are the key drivers of this position

  • Oversee US government reporting requirements

  • Lead critical process transformation initiatives

  • Develop strategies to drive core KPIs (achieve/exceed targets)

  • Manage various internal and external audits

  • Be a great team player, develop and maintain a strong team environment and build strong competencies in the team.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?


  • CPA or master's degree in accounting & finance

  • At least 8 + years of public accounting experience (few years of manager/senior manager experience at Big 4)

  • Industry experience with working for a global company and managing/leading teams is a plus

  • At least 3 + years of successful managerial experience (management exercised: staffing, performance management, task delegation, project delegation, work planning, coaching, salary reviews, etc.)

  • Exceptional project management skills

  • Experience with business and/or system transformation.

  • Strong analytical skills with advanced PC skills (Excel and Power Point skills are a MUST)

  • Strongly favored data processing/analytical tools: Tableau, Python, R, Alteryx, Power BI

  • Experience in specialized ERP (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion)

  • SOX/404 experience

  • Experience in building and developing strong relationships with business partners
