Job Summary Reporting to the Senior Vice President of HR Operations, this role is pivotal in collaborating across various functional areas within HR and other stakeholders to ensure the effective utilization, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of Workday and Beeline functionalities. This position requires working closely with subject matter experts from the Centers of Excellence (COEs) to support HCM functions leveraging Workday and Beeline. Key responsibilities include optimizing system functionality and supporting our service delivery improvement efforts by automating manual tasks and implementing robust processes, integrations, and system upgrades. The Director will act as the primary interface between HR and Digital teams on matters related to Workday and Beeline to ensure alignment and seamless communication between departments.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Lead collaboration with SMEs in HR to identify and implement strategic enhancements to Workday and Beeline systems, optimizing process efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure that Workday and Beeline configurations comprehensively meet HR's strategic needs, including advanced system administration, data security management, workflow optimization, and process automation.
Serve as the primary senior liaison with Digital teams for all Workday and Beeline activities, comprehending new release changes and their strategic implications for HR and stakeholders, assessing functional requirements for critical changes, and ensuring flawless operational readiness.
Focus on driving an enhanced user experience through continuous feedback and improvement of Workday and Beeline functionalities.
Partner with Digital Workday and Beeline teams to lead the ongoing support, enhancement, and strategic management of Workday modules, supporting testing, and ensuring timely resolution of system issues and operational excellence.
Translate project proposals into business use-cases that clearly outline staffing needs, project costs, timelines and business benefits.
Provide oversight to project efforts, including integrations of HR technology third party vendor applications, through evaluation, design, configuration, implementation and testing phases to ensure successful completion of projects.
Collaborate with Digital on developing and managing system integrations between Workday HCM, Beeline, and other enterprise applications, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
Work closely with the HR Ops team to ensure comprehensive knowledge articles and support scripts regarding Workday functionality, maintaining current and accurate business process documentation.
Represent HR on relevant steering committees and change control boards, providing strategic insights, supporting the prioritization of release features and enhancement requests, and ensuring alignment with functional and organizational goals.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships and partner collaboratively with team, key partners and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of HR experience encompassing multiple HR disciplines, with a proven track record in strategic HR roles.
8+ years of experience working with Human Capital Management (HCM) SAAS technologies, with deep expertise in HR processes, workflows, security, and best practices. Extensive experience with Workday is required.
Proven experience providing leadership to a Workday HCM implementation highly desirable.
Exceptional leadership and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Proven experience leading and managing future state design and process improvements focused on HCM business functions, including gathering requirements and facilitating design definition discussions to understand and address complex customer needs.
Outstanding problem-solving skills and a strong ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
Excellent analytical skills, leveraging data-driven insights to drive strategic decision-making and continuous process improvements.
Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects with meticulous attention to detail and deadlines.
