Job Description: Our staffing firm is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Warehouse Specialist for a growing client in Jessup, MD. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular counts and audits
Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments, verifying product quality and quantity
Organize and label warehouse items to ensure efficient storage and easy access
Prepare orders for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling
Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or low inventory
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and inventory scanners
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies
Assist with periodic inventory reconciliations and reporting
Support warehouse team with other duties as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
Forklift certification is a plus (willing to train for the right candidate)
Good communication and teamwork skills
