Job Description: Our staffing firm is seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Assistant to join a prestigious law firm in Annapolis. This is an exciting, 100% in office opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment, providing essential administrative support to the firm's attorneys and staff.
Responsibilities:
Manage calendars, schedules, and appointments for attorneys
Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary
Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and reports
Maintain filing systems and ensure all legal documents are properly organized
Assist with client communications and coordinate meetings
Handle general office duties, including managing office supplies and handling incoming/outgoing mail
Provide support for billing, accounting, and other administrative tasks
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth office operations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, ideally within a legal environment
Strong knowledge of office software, including Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Prior experience working in a law firm or legal setting is a plus
