There are multiple open Equipment Room Attendant positions. Equipment Room Attendants handle the daily operations of the School of Media & Journalism Equipment Room. This Equipment Room supplies SMJ students with the Audio/Video Equipment that they need to complete their class and portfolio projects. Attendants will be the point of contact when students, faculty, or staff come to pick up their reserved items.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Equipment Room Attendants are responsible for:
Checking reservation software to prepare for upcoming appointments
Gathering all requested items in advance of the customer's time slot
Checking the contents of all kits as they are checked in and out
Verifying user IDs match the names on the reservation
Take routine inventory to make sure equipment is accounted for
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
No experience required. Customer service experience or experience with Audio/Video equipment preferred.
General Days/Hours:
Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM Attendants will be given a fixed weekly schedule of approximately 10 hours a week, based on their availability. Depending on the semester, the operating hours might be extended to 6PM to accommodate a night class.

Minimum Qualifications: Federal Work Study must be awarded. Currently enrolled in courses at Arkansas State University
