Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 + DOE

Job Description

Netgroup Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Product Development Project Manager to join our dynamic team working with the latest technology in automotive testing. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing verification and validation test plans in alignment with defined project deliverables. Your responsibilities will include identifying resources, securing budgets, and coordinating team efforts to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all verification and validation (V&V) activities related to feature and vehicle regulations.
  • Ensure project requirements meet Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Feature (QDCF) targets.
  • Manage incoming test requests with a risk management approach in collaboration with Feature Engineers.
  • Define test plan prioritization and proactively communicate project risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Represent the Complete Vehicle organization in project management teams, design reviews, and other relevant forums.
  • Identify necessary resources, including simulation, rig tests, and test trucks, to successfully execute the V&V plan.
  • Lead feature reviews and report on feature fulfillment, verification, and validation status to project teams.
  • Provide input to key project documentation, including requirement specifications, project descriptions, risk registers, and lessons learned.
  • Ensure that project time plans (levels 1-3, commodity/module) comprehensively cover all required verification and validation activities.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • PMP Certification is required.
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as risk analysis, FMEA, and project assurance quality.
  • Experience with Design Verification Plan (DVP) and Agile methodology.
  • Familiarity with North American automotive safety regulations (FMVSS/CMVSS).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
