Develop and evaluate mechanical concepts that meet sub-system functions, objectives, and constraints.
Work independently and within a team to drive innovation with new technology development and manufacturing processes.
Conduct and review engineering analyses, including stress, thermal, flow, lab, and physical testing.
Lead a project from development to launch.
Design test models and test cells to validate design concepts.
Assess product performance through lab testing and potential customer site trials.
Create, implement, and manage development project plans and budgets from concept to final implementation, supporting business commercialization phases.
Contribute to the development and evaluation of business cases for specific projects.
Organize and analyze data using statistical tools.
Effectively communicate project updates across different phases and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
5-7 years of experience in mechanical design and new technology development.
Proficiency in CAD software (Unigraphics preferred).
Strong background in mechanical design, stress analysis, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer.
Experience with data analytics and statistical analysis.
Knowledge of GD&T, metrology, tooling practices, and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
A self-motivated problem solver with a keen attention to detail and troubleshooting abilities.
