Flywheel Publishing is hiring a video production lead to take production, quality, and branding to the next level.
You will focus on creating quality video and podcast production to support multiple brands, at scale. You'll start with 247wallst.com and a-z-animals.com.
The number one skill we'll want to see at the beginning of this role is an ability to execute. We have targets for the number of videos posted and other engagement metrics we'll want to see anyone in this role excited to exceed.That requires strong work ethic, but you'll be supported by a team that's excited about growing our video strategy.Longer term, we see this role expanding to create new formats and help design our overall video strategy. We have many avenues to grow our video presence - from YouTube, to social media, to podcasts, to partnerships with large media platform
To start:
247 Wall St. already produces the AI Investor Podcast, which you will take over and improve https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-ai-investor-podcast/id1765728916
You will leverage the footage from this to publish to YouTube, social media, our site, and publishing portals.

You will find more ways to leverage the limited video we're currently creating for maximum distribution.
Goals:
To create a video and audio presence for two of our leading brands
Based on the success of those efforts, expanding to cover our other brands (cheatcc.com, momswhothink.com, and others)
Expand our video presence outside of existing formats. Experiment with short form, long form, slideshow, etc. Find what works for our audience and do more.
Skills and experience:
Prior experience with YouTube, podcasts, and social channels like Instagram and TikTok
You choose the video and audio editing tools you prefer
Experience with Wordpress or web publishing is a plus
Experience with automated or AI video editing tools
Essential to your success:
Skill - You must have experience editing audio and video quickly, focusing on systems that can accommodate new formats and brands.
Passion - A strong personal interest in business, finance, and investing will enhance the quality of your work
Autonomy - You must be able to work autonomously. We provide a lot of flexibility, but expect work to be completed on or ahead of schedule.
Solutions oriented - You will be in charge of creating our production systems. The tools and workflows will be created by you. We are here to support, but not guide your work. We expect you to problem solve and iterate to fix problems
An ability to pivot - Our business moves quickly. We want to grow our video and audio production and will have to change our output based on business results and traffic generated.
You will be compensated based on your success and growth in this role, with incentives based on what you achieve.
This role will require a brief period of a few weeks of paid contract work to understand your abilities, converting to a full time role if you are a good fit.
