Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Heavy/Civil Project Manager to oversee and manage our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy and civil construction, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple heavy/civil construction projects from initiation to completion.
Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with stakeholders.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
Monitor project progress and implement adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
Conduct regular site visits to assess work progress and quality.
Review and approve project-related documentation including estimates, change orders, and contracts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in heavy and civil construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with scheduling tools and software relevant to heavy civil construction.
