What you will be responsible for

As Asset Owner Client Service Assistant Vice President you will


  • Escalation point for clients

  • Apply functional/technical skills when responding to client inquiries; act as first line informant on service offerings

  • Manage/oversee service delivery for ops and risk activities i.e. inquiry resolution, requests, pricing, custody, loan/credit facilities, account admin activities, online application support, monitor receivables/billing collections and reviews customized work

  • Manage internal risk and compliance profiles, assist with fiduciary reviews and respond to inquiries from client auditors as needed

  • Review and lead onboarding, conversion, and client change activities; ensure successful implementation and manages expectations

  • Oversee technology enhancements and testing, provide overall project management for all client related initiatives •

  • Manage activities in servicing client relationships and client operations i.e. respond to escalated issues, communicate resolution to clients and monitor metrics around inquiries being resolved at point of contact

  • Manage risk by ensuring staff knows and adheres to SOPs and alternative procedures/processes; facilitate review of the business unit

  • Support/recommend to senior management the establishment of procedures/processes and supply information for budget preparation; manage the development or revision of procedures/processes

  • Manage effective and timely flow of critical information to relevant parties; coordinate internal/external meetings and follow up on admin details

  • Handle client, division, corporate operations/ strategies as confidential information according to corporate policy

  • Review client satisfaction surveys and reports to identify areas of improvement and enforces an action plan to remedy any issues

  • Coordinate/lead production of target client customized reporting i.e. report cards, KPIs, governance decks, scorecards, metrics, risk/compliance and client service reporting, including coordinating maintenance of data • Oversee the compilation of client documentation i.e. client onboarding, SLAs, FTTOP, business requirements, fee schedules

  • Has accountability and oversight for completion and delivering PPRs on time

  • Support cross-selling efforts; participate in RFP process for potential new business, as needed

  • Gain exposure to client/divisional financials; focus on strategic aspects of maintaining and growing long-term client relationships

  • Keep abreast of industry, market trends, and best practices in order to provide insightful information to clients and the team

  • Maintain/build client contact for ops and servicing needs; provide suggestions of other services that may benefit clients

  • Ensure fee schedules are properly implemented and receivables are collected timely

  • Serve on committees and use influence to help define and implement new company initiatives

  • During the course of normal day to day operation, be responsible for identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and must report and/or escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree require

  • Must have 6-8 years of related experience, preferably in financial services industry.

  • Knowledge of financial services computer systems, financial operations and/or mutual fund and related industries will be considered a strong plus.


Additional requirements

  • Ability to travel; very infrequent, but possible.

  • Note: this is a hybrid work environment position

Salary Range:
$70,000 - $115,000 Annual
