The Electrical Project Manager (Boston, Massachusetts) will be responsible for overseeing electrical construction projects from inception to completion. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, coordinate, and manage electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Oversee project scope, scheduling, procurement, and resource allocation.
Review and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and contract documents.
Coordinate with general contractors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Manage project budgets, track costs, and submit progress reports.
Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Lead and mentor project teams, including field personnel and subcontractors.
Conduct site visits, inspections, and troubleshoot electrical issues as needed.
Handle RFIs, change orders, and resolve project-related issues.
Foster and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
5+ years of experience in electrical project management within commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, institutional, or hospitality sectors.
Strong knowledge of NEC codes, electrical systems, and construction processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
