Job Description:



The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for the overall management of the revenue cycle for a healthcare organization. This includes ensuring that all patient billing is accurate and timely, collections are made efficiently, and denials are minimized. The Revenue Cycle Manager will work closely with other department managers to ensure that all aspects of the revenue cycle are running smoothly and efficiently.



Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire revenue cycle process, including billing, collections, and accounts receivable.


• Develop and implement policies and procedures related to the revenue cycle.


• Train and supervise staff members who work in the revenue cycle department.


• Monitor financial data related to the revenue cycle and make recommendations for improvements or changes as needed.


• Work with other departments within the organization to ensure that all billing and payments are processed correctly and in a timely manner.


• Manage denial management and ensure timely resolution of denied claims.


• Prepare and analyze financial reports related to the revenue cycle.


• Utilize strong Excel skills to manage and report on financial data.


• Supervise and mentor two direct reports and additional indirect reports.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.


• Collaborate with other departments to optimize revenue cycle processes.


• Maintain and improve the use of the HHAeXchange system for billing and collections.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, healthcare administration, or a related field.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.


• Proven experience with the HHAeXchange system.


• Strong background in home healthcare billing and collections.


• Excellent understanding of denial management and financial reporting.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.


• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree or certification in healthcare administration or a related field.


• Experience with other healthcare billing systems.


• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in home healthcare.
