What to Expect
The Director of HCI Operations Planning is responsible for planning, leading and managing the process and operations of Hyundai Capital Insurance Warranty / CPO Products initiatives to ensure that it aligns with organizational objectives. Provide direction sets milestones allocate responsibilities and drives toward and monitor results ensuring strategic objectives are met in a timely manner.
What You Will Do
1. Process Innovation
• Identify improvement opportunities, formulate recommendations, develop solutions and execute approved final recommendations.
• Work with departments/team to solve problems, encouraging a diversity of opinion while lending expertise to the process and work with business areas to implement changes/solutions.
• Understand operating processes, assess current effectiveness, provide thought leadership /recommendations on how to best optimize current processes and articulate to senior management.
2. Project Management
• Develop project plans specifying goals, budget, strategy, and staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources to gain approval for proposed projects.
• Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirement, preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances initiating corrective actions.
3. Strategy
• Plan and lead the development of operation strategies and performance metrics in support of department objectives.
• Work with senior management to set performance analytics, identify, and evaluate growth opportunities.
4. Management
• Hire, train, reward and develop associate succession planning and team development. Prepare development plans and administer coaching, disciplinary actions, and terminations as needed
• Effectively communicate corporate and department objectives on a regular basis. Motivate and create a positive working environment to achieve productivity and performance standards.
Qualifications
What You Will Bring
• 7+ years of related experience preferable insurance, auto industry.
• Bachelor's degree, MBA is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a rapidly changing business environment
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments to achieve business objectives
• Strong PC skills, including Excel, word and PowerPoint required
• Strong organizational/planning skills
• Resourceful and innovative problem solving skills-focus on how to make things happen
Work Environment
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
The posted salary range for this job takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. Successful candidates may be hired anywhere in the salary range based on these factors. It is uncommon to hire candidates at or near the top of the range.
