Job Description
You will be responsible for building models and complex analyses to support Go-To-Market (GTM) planning and forecasting processes and identify performance improvement opportunities across GTM operations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Excel modeling in a prior FP&A, Finance or Analytics role, and a business acumen to understand the intricacies of GTM operations of a fast-growing Software company.
What you will do as a Sr. Analyst, GTM Planning and Analytics
Build and maintain complex planning and forecasting models that both drive and support strategies across marketing, sales, and customer success
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and other stakeholders to align on modelling assumptions and ensure the models reflect desired structure and outputs
Perform ad hoc deep-dive analyses on various GTM performance questions to provide insights on improvement opportunities
Drive improvement in modeling infrastructure, framework and process to improve the speed and accuracy of GTM planning and forecasting
Qualifications for Sr. Analyst, GTM Planning and Analytics
Expert knowledge of advanced Excel modeling
Excellent analytical ability and problem-solving skills
Detail oriented with proven record of delivering accurate financial and operational analyses
A natural self-starter with an owner mentality that gets things done
Proficiency in working with databases and large datasets
Strong communication and collaboration skills, superb team player
Open mind and ability to learn and adapt quickly
Professional attitude, service orientation, strong work ethic
Education & Experience
3+ years of high-powered FP&A, Finance or Analytics experience which required extensive modeling
BS/BA in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or other analytical field
Expert knowledge of Excel modeling, including advanced VBA, is a must
SQL proficiency is a must
Python proficiency a strong plus
Experience with Sales or Revenue operations in SaaS preferred but not required
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred
High-level of technical proficiency and a general interest in technology, systems and software
Travel
Occasional travel may be required (up to 10%)
