CubeNexus is building the true spatial web, integrating spatiotemporal data into a unified system with cutting-edge AI and visualization tools. We are developing a web and mobile platform to make our technology accessible across industries like aviation, oil and gas, telecom, and defense.
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer (Figma Specialist) to help craft intuitive and visually compelling user experiences for our web and mobile applications. This is a contract, hourly role in a high-growth startup with tight deadlines, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building cutting-edge interfaces.
Your Role
UI/UX Design: Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and user flows using Figma.
User-Centered Approach: Design intuitive interfaces that simplify complex data visualization and AI-driven analytics.
Mobile & Web Optimization: Develop responsive designs for both desktop and mobile platforms.
Illustration & Branding: Utilize Adobe Illustrator and other design tools to create icons, assets, and branding elements for a cohesive user experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to refine designs based on feedback.
Brand Consistency: Ensure UI components align with CubeNexus's branding and industry best practices.
What You Bring
Required Skills
Proficiency in Figma (Auto-layout, components, design systems).
Experience designing web and/or mobile applications with a focus on usability and aesthetics.
Strong understanding of UX principles, user research, and interaction design.
Ability to create clickable prototypes for user testing and development handoff.
Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, or other design tools useful for UI/UX work.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-moving startup.
U.S. Citizenship required (due to potential defense-related applications).
Preferred Skills
Experience with data visualization or geospatial mapping tools.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Tailwind) is a plus.
Past work on SaaS platforms or complex enterprise applications.
