Job Summary | The Administrative Staff Officer will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Associate Dean of Faculty and Staff Advancement (ADFSA), faculty, and staff in the College of Public Health. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to manage daily tasks and assist in departmental operations, ensuring smooth operations and timely execution of key responsibilities. Primary job duties will include: Calendar and travel support for the ADFSA: Manage the calendar, schedule meetings, book flights, accommodations, and ground transportation for work related travel. Support for Faculty Council: Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes and assist with follow-up tasks to ensure timely execution of decisions made during meetings. Support for Faculty Search Committees: Scheduling meetings, preparing materials and coordinating interview logistics. Coordinate Faculty Candidate Visits: Coordinate logistics including meeting rooms, room reservations, presentations and candidate interactions with key faculty and staff. Other administrative duties including (but not limited to): updating Teams and Sharepoint sites, organization, maintenance and streamlining of filing systems. |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | MS Office Suite to include Outlook 365, Excel, Word. SAP use and knowledge helpful but not required. Senior or Executive level administrative support. |
