What You Will Be Doing
As a Product Support Engineer you are not only the final line of support for customers, but also the face of our company!
After instruments are manufactured you will take full responsibility of the product; this includes testing the device, going out to customer facilities to assemble, calibrate, train and support them
During these trips you will work daily with our client's top users including accomplished scientists, CTOs, etc. to train them on how to use the instruments, make applicable modifications and propose innovative solutions.
As an integral member to our continious improvement efforts you will take feedback from our users for product modifications and work closely with our R&D team to introduce new ideas for enhancements.
Please be advised that this role involves 30-40% travel What You Need for this Position
4+ years of experience with
Product Support Engineering
Experience Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and pneumatic components
Experience working with ultra high precision instrumentation
Excellent communication skills and ability to present well in front of high level executives
Bonus points if you have experience with Nanotechnology or vacuum systems (ion pumps, ion gauges, turbomolecular pumps) Benefits $75k - $100k + 401(k) with 6% employer match
