About Us:

Temu tax team ensures compliance with local and international tax laws while optimizing the company's tax position. We handle tax planning, reporting, and risk management, working closely with other departments to drive efficiencies. Responsibilities

- Identifying U.S. state & local tax issues related to new business initiatives, as well as tax automation systems.

- Researching state and local income tax issues

- Preparing detailed written tax guidance and requirements for the new projects

- Manage the analysis and documentation of tax implications of new business issues

- Research and analyze tax planning ideas to determine impacts for U.S. income tax reporting

- Keep up-to-date on tax law and the organizational impact of changes

- Train and mentor team members

- Special projects as needed

Required skills / Minimum Qualifications

- Advanced knowledge of tax accounting, audit process, and tax law;

- Experience with preparing complicated tax returns for corporate.

- Detail-oriented, organized and able to deliver on tight timelines.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

- Be able to work with multicultural team and be patience and understanding

- Be able to work with a fast paced start-up

- Experience from a Big-4 public accounting firm is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

- BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience

- 5 or more years of U.S. tax experience with a public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation

- CPA required

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation structure is designed to align with the cost of labor in various geographic markets across the US. The total salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $260,000 annually, based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, competencies and location.
