The Art Therapy Project (TATP) is a nonprofit providing group art therapy in a safe inclusive space for people in need of mental health services. Clients feel connected and inspired while exploring their personal journeys, increasing their self-awareness, and improving their quality of life.
We are seeking a full time, experienced Senior Development Manager passionate about our mission to lead our ongoing fundraising efforts. The Senior Development Manager will be responsible for building strong relationships with existing and prospective donors across multiple sectors. You will use your expert communication skills and keen sense of initiative to identify fundraising opportunities, maintain relationships with our current donors, cultivate new supporters, and develop and implement new strategies to secure funds. This position also involves organizing large-scale fundraising events, supporting grant writing efforts, and building relationships with donors, staff and volunteers to help move TATP closer to its financial goals. You should be well organized, proactive, have a proven track record of implementing successful fundraising campaigns and staff/volunteer leadership, and have the ability to inspire those around you. The position works closely with the Marketing Manager and reports to the Executive Director.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
In partnership with ED, develop and execute TATP annual fundraising plan
Manage all organizational fundraising and cultivation events
Effectively convey the organization's mission, vision, programs and gift impact to external stakeholders
Manage donor database (DonorPerfect) including donor acknowledgement and data entry
In coordination with Marketing Manager, oversee Direct Mail Appeals and Monthly Giving Campaign
Identify and steward prospective individuals, corporations, and foundations
Assist with writing, preparation and tracking of grant proposals
Liaise with Marketing Manager to develop strategies for promoting fundraising activities and events
Liaise with Marketing Manager to identify, cultivate and implement Brand Affinity opportunities
Assist with developing annual budget
Staff liaison for Board Development & Marketing Committee including Events Subcommittee and Junior Board/Young Professionals
Recruit, Train and Manage Volunteers
Manage Third Party Fundraising activities
Stay on top of fundraising trends and nonprofit community
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
? College graduate
? Minimum five years of development experience
? Exceptional writing, communication and relationship-building skills
? Superior organization and time management skills
? Comfortable with public speaking
? Creative problem solver and ability to think outside the box
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team
? Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, as well as database management, CRM skills and other fundraising technologies/platforms
? Marketing and Social Media experience strongly preferred
? Highly motivated, organized and self-starting professional with can-do attitude, sense of humor, flexibility
? Occasional weekend and evening hours required
