    Job Summary


    We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician I, at our soon to open St. Louis Location Healthcare Laundry facility.  We are looking for someone who is confident in decision making, can act quickly, and has excellent communication skills.   If you are ready to make a commitment to measurable performance and continuous improvements, then we want to hear from you!


    The Maintenance Technician I will be responsible for performing all repairs, adjustments, overhauls, or preventive maintenance tasks on various types of laundry, or boiler room equipment; must be able to troubleshoot mechanical and electronic problems quickly and accurately with a sense of urgency. Additionally, he or she will perform any necessary plumbing, carpentry, welding, or electrical tasks, if applicable.


    The successful candidate


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



    • Regular attendance

    • Must be able to perform essential functions and meet minimum work standards with, or without accommodations.

    • Responsible for trouble shooting automated industrial equipment.

    • Assist in training maintenance personnel.

    • Responsible for installation, and maintenance of equipment.

    • Responsible for building maintenance and repair.

    • Responsible for strong preventative maintenance program.

    • Responsible for assisting in concerns: OSHA, reduction of utilities, garbage, etc.

    • Responsible for directing maintenance techs & assigning daily work orders.

    • Responsible to learn all responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor for future promotion potentials.

    • Uses knowledge of industrial maintenance to repair, modify, or fabricate parts for equipment.

    • Requires analysis of equipment to determine necessary repairs.

    • Ability to analyzes blueprints, drawings, and schematics of automated industrial equipment.

    • Install utility lines for steam, water, air, gas, condensate, etc., including soldering, pipe threading, and electrical conduit.

    • Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment.

    • Complete all required safety training.

    • Ensure all work is assigned and recorded into the maintenance site. 

    • Assist in organizing and the follow through of all projects.

    • Must use proper PPE in compliance with company policies.


    • Must remain compliant with all safety related company policies and procedures.



  • Assist and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

  • Available to work seven days a week and to be called in when necessary.

  • Record all required work in a timely manner: work orders, time sheets, and request forms.

  • Performs other various job duties as may be assigned.

  • Maintain an accurate parts inventory.

Job Requirements


  • Experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

  • Strong background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Prior experience with boiler maintenance.

  • Ability to lead maintenance technicians.

  • Good communications skills with all levels.

  • High School, GED, or equivalent plus two years related experience.

  • Possesses plumbing, and welding skills.

  • Must provide own tools necessary to complete essential job functions.

  • Wear proper PPE and complete all required safety training
