CLIENT is seeking a Data Engineer for an onsite position in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in content migration, AWS, and Python.


Must-Have Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
• Expertise in content migration.
• Proficiency in AWS and Python.
• Must be able to work on W2 (no CTC or CTH).

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Configure and set up the AWS platform environment to meet organizational requirements and prepare for eGain migration.
• Optimize the platform for performance, security, and scalability.
• Provide technical support, write Python widgets, and troubleshoot issues during the setup phase.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure contractor roles align with the evolving requirements of the migration process.
• Demonstrate proficiency in AWS and Microsoft Azure application development for multiple technologies and design techniques.
• Utilize development toolsets to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
• Apply a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and work within common frameworks.
• Implement techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test-Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency, and security.
• Show proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages.
• Demonstrate a working proficiency in various software engineering disciplines, including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of software.
