Landscape Maintenance Tech at Lands End Inc in Stevens Point, Wisconsin

Job Description:

This part-time position performs the upkeep, maintenance and repair of the complex landscaping and grounds areas at our Stevens Point facility from May-September. Enjoy a flexible schedule that allows you to work 6-8 hour shifts, starting at 8 AM.

$17/hr.

• Performs exterior landscaping duties as assigned including weeding, trees, shrubs, walks, patios: mowing, trimming, pruning, transplanting, mulching, planting, edging, top dressing, leaf clean up and seeding.


• Apply landscape chemicals limited to herbicides, with proper handling, equipment operation, and equipment cleaning. 


• Assist all other horticultural tasks of exterior landscaping.


• Experience and proficiency with hand and power tools.


• Ability to operate and maintain self-propelled mowers, rider lawn mowers and power trimming equipment


• Current driver’s license required with acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to occasionally lift a variety of tools and equipment up to 50 lb.


• Ability to climb ladders


• Ability to kneel for long periods of time


• Frequent walking and standing for up to 2 to 4 hours at a time


• Frequent bending and twisting with weights up to 20 to 30lbs.


• Continuous fine finger manipulation, bilateral hand dexterity


• Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions: heat, cold, sunny, humidity and light rain

This position will average 24-32 hours per week May through September.
