ECS is seeking a
Cloud Security Engineer to work in our
Fort Belvoir, VA office.

Office of the Administrative Assistant (OAA) to the SECARMY, Information Technology Management Office (OAA ITMO) leads solution engineering to design, build, test, deploy, sustain, and transition into production new or modernized IT business applications. OAA ITMO also manages digital records, enterprise knowledge data, data visualization, and Visual Information (graphics) services for OAA. 

Recent OAA modernization achievements include the transition of application platforms to predominately Microsoft 365 (M365) SharePoint Online, implementation of Records Management and Knowledge Management tools, sustainment of existing and development of new executive dashboards, and the creation of graphics products. ECS will work with OAA to continually refine and mature their products and functions.

ECS is looking for a seasoned Cloud Security Engineer who will be responsible for providing security systems and tools management related to the cloud technologies and playing a vital role in protecting an organization's data. A cloud security engineer specializes in providing security for cloud-based digital platforms and plays an integral role in protecting an organization's data. This may involve analyzing existing cloud structures and creating new and enhanced security methods. They often serve as part of a larger team dedicated to cloud-based management and security. Cloud security engineers usually work full-time in an office environment, with some positions requiring personnel to respond to after-hours emergencies.

The Cloud Security Engineer will be on-site at Fort Belvoir, Virginia and requires a SECRET clearance.
