Description: Our client is currently seeking a Personal Care Assistant (Male) for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year!



Location: Perkasie, PA



Hours: 7am-2:30pm



Type: Contract until the end of the school year


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Support students with disabilities by assisting with daily activities and educational tasks.


• Help maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.


• Assist students with personal hygiene and toileting needs.


• Implement behavior management plans as directed by teachers and specialists.


• Assist with mobility and physical needs, including lifting and repositioning students.


• Provide support during classroom activities and transitions.


• Assist with feeding and mealtime routines.


• Monitor and document student progress and behaviors.


• Communicate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to ensure coordinated care.


• Facilitate social interactions and encourage positive behavior.


• Attend training and professional development sessions as required.


• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher or school administration.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have at least 6 months of experience working with students


• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to assist with physical and emotional needs


• CPR and First Aid Certification


• Own, reliable form of transportation (car)
