Hours: 8:20 AM - 3:50 PM



Job Description:



We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistants/Paraprofessionals to join our team at two elementary schools within the district. The ideal candidates will have experience working with students with Autism and managing behavioral challenges.



Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students with Autism to meet academic and/or behavioral goals.
  
  


• Assist students with any supports or modifications needed to access school facilities and curriculum.
  
  


• Offer physical support and adapt teaching materials to cater to individual student needs.
  
  


• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience working with students exhibiting behavioral challenges.
  
  


• Proficiency in managing and handling behaviors associated with Autism.
  
  


• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
  


• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
