Job Description Summary

This employee also keeps track of restricted product or reworked product. They must keep accurate records that can be balanced every two hours with Americold and hourly within the plant. In order to do so they must keep in contact with the lab, and Team Leaders. They will need to monitor add back totes and repack totes to make sure that they have not been sitting out too long, if they have then they need to call Forklift operator to pull the totes back. Perform all AMD activities as needed.

SPECIFIC DUTIES
Employee has to learn basic start stop and running of palletizer to break palletizer, ie operations of the Shrink Wrappers & Vision system.
Responsible for becoming qualified on the Forklift.
Responsible for the overseeing of auto labeler which creates and apply manifest tickets.
Record any abnormalities as needed in log book.
Responsible for manifesting packaging materials.
Responsible for applying daycode designation stickers.
Responsible for communicating/reconciling with Americold as directed.
Responsible for identifying damaged/incorrectly palletized items.
Responsible for creating manifest tickets on all product produced.
Responsible for ticketing bulk totes.
Responsible for scanning and reticketing ingredients back into inventory.
Responsible for checking the manifest system for inventory accuracy.
Responsible for ensuring FIFO.
Responsible for ticketing short B and waste.
Responsible for using an infrared scanner on totes that are sitting out.
May be required to build totes.
Needs to ensure that all built up totes have the appropriate liner in them and have a good rubber band on them.
Responsible for cleaning area and maintaining a 5S environment.
Responsible for monitoring how long product has been left on the floor.
Need to maintain close communication with QA lab and supervisors.
Responsible for monitoring the amount of rework on the floor.
Responsible for maintaining records that allow for zero balancing with Americold after every two hours.
Must follow all plant and job specific safety duties.
Follows all rules in regards to PPE and LOTO. Maintain good personal hygiene.
Works weekend cleanups as assigned.
May be required to attend Review and Response meetings.
Must be involved in Daily Risk Assessment for safety activities.
Keeps all tools and equipment not in use in their assigned locations.
Aides in the training of newer employees as directed by the supervisory staff.
Other duties may be assigned by supervisors as needed.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Must be able to communicate effectively and understand both verbal and written instructions.
Must have a basic mechanical aptitude.
Understands basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Will need to be able to enter a very cold environment for short periods of time.
