Your Role:



In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Operational Technology (OT) systems that monitor and control industrial processes across our global manufacturing and R&D facilities. A primary focus will be on integrating OT systems with corporate IT to ensure seamless data flow, interoperability, and compliance with global standards.


You will play a crucial role in modernizing OT infrastructure by transitioning legacy systems to advanced digital platforms and integrating essential OT systems such as SCADA, DCS, Data Historians, and LIMS.


This role can be based from any of our following sites including Tempe, AZ; Allentown, PA or Carlsbad, CA. We offer a hybrid flexible work policy. There may be up to 25% domestic travel annually.



Job Responsibilities:



  • Oversee the secure implementation and management of IT/OT infrastructure across various regional sites.

  • Ensure effective deployment and integration of OT systems within the corporate IT network in accordance with global standards.

  • Provide guidance to local teams in migrating legacy systems to contemporary digital plant infrastructure.

  • Support the OT system lifecycle, ensuring adherence to cybersecurity and operational standards.

  • Act as a liaison between regional sites and global strategies by gathering site-specific requirements.

  • Assist with training for site personnel on best practices in OT system management and compliance.

  • Assist with OT systems audits and compliance efforts.




Who You Are:




Minimum Qualifications:



  • At least 2 years of experience in OT system design and execution of digitalization projects

  • Knowledge of OT infrastructure design, software engineering, and IT security

  • Proficiency in configuring and operating virtual machine and virtual network technologies (VMs, VLANs)

  • Experience managing firewalls, storage devices, Active Directories, and physical networks

  • Hands-on experience in the configuration, installation, diagnosis, and maintenance of OT systems hardware and software

  • Basic project management skills, including planning/scheduling, budgeting, work progress tracking, reporting, and risk/issues management




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience implementing cybersecurity protection layers for OT and IT

  • CCNA certification

  • GICSP or related cybersecurity certification(s)

  • Basic knowledge of planning and programming DCS and PLC systems (Siemens, Rockwell, GE, or similar)

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within global, cross-functional teams
