| Job Summary | Conduct and modify laboratory research protocols in biological science disciplines in the areas of neuroscience, inflammation, and disordered proteins. Adapt protocols and procedures for laboratory analyses. Use instruments and practical knowledge to interpret results. Perform and modify laboratory test on biological materials using methods such as brain surgery, brain imaging using multiphoton microscopy, laser speckle contrast imaging. Proficient at electrophoresis of proteins and nucleotide samples. Perform sample collection, brain sectioning, western blotting, immunohistochemistry, cytochemistry. Must have knowledge of animal anatomy, surgery, brain imaging and data analysis. IEBC- Internal employee being considered |
