Volt is immediately hiring for a Maintenance Technician in Irwindale, CA.
As a Maintenance Technician you will:
Assist in the repair and upkeep of production equipment and facility systems.
Conduct scheduled inspections of forging, grinding, and sawing equipment, forklifts, air/water systems, and environmental controls.
Perform preventative maintenance and correct issues identified during inspections.
Help troubleshoot equipment issues to improve uptime, efficiency, and product quality.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, modifications, and part replacements.
Support inventory management for tools, supplies, and replacement parts.
Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance standards are followed.
Work in a physically demanding environment including confined spaces, elevated areas, and hot conditions.
This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
A high school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial shop environment.
Proficiency in reading and understanding instructions and safety protocols in English.
Ability to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
A willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, elevated positions, and extreme temperatures.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift (5:30am - 4:30pm); overtime and some weekends required
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
