Maximum of 15 working hours per week which includes day and evening assignments.
The Health Professions Lab and Simulation Assistant has responsibility for supporting and maintaining skills and simulation lab operations in the Health Profession's Division. This position reports to the Associate Dean of Health Professions and performs duties as directed by the Associate Dean and Health Professions faculty. The Health Professions lab and simulation assistant will perform the following duties:
Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly maintained and functioning in relation to
manufacturer recommendations.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to perform independent research, effectively present information and respond to questions from faculty and students.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply advanced math concepts such as exponents, and logarithms.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Must have a working knowledge of basic computer hardware, Microsoft applications software and Internet use.
