Position Overview A remote Sr. Tax Associate is responsible for providing tax services and support to clients with a focus on individuals, high net worth individuals, partnerships, estates, and corporate accounting. This role requires strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, as well as experience in public accounting and working with a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, high net worth individuals, partnerships, estates, and corporations
Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide tax planning advice to clients
Assist with tax audits and resolutions for clients
Communicate and collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and address any tax-related questions or concerns
Maintain accurate and organized tax records and files
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure clients are informed and in compliance
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Active CPA license
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance, preferably in a public accounting firm
Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with a focus on individuals, high net worth individuals, partnerships, estates, and corporate accounting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office
