We are supporting a client in the Northwest Metro of the Twin Cities with their search for a new Customer Service Manager! Prior leadership/management experience is required, and preferably a background in B2B customer service.
Job Duties:
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with the sales team to exceed customer expectations and support revenue growth.
Manage customer inquiries, prepare price quotes, and process orders, returns, and changes.
Provide accurate pricing, inventory levels, shipping costs, and delivery timelines.
Expedite urgent orders by coordinating with warehouse, purchasing, and vendors.
Investigate and resolve product quality, shipment, and service-related issues.
Monitor inventory levels and proactively communicate stock concerns.
Support account managers with sales and administrative tasks, including reporting.
Train, mentor, and onboard new Customer Success Specialists.
Oversee daily team operations, including scheduling, payroll approval, and performance management.
Assist with hiring decisions and conduct 1:1 meetings and performance reviews.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with approximately five years of leadership or management experience.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with customers.
In-depth knowledge of company products and services.
Preferred experience in sales, manufacturing, or distribution industries.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and spreadsheet applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential company information with discretion.
Excellent relationship-building skills with vendors, customers, and colleagues.
Additional Info:
Pay range: $70-75k/yr.
Schedule: : 8am-5pm Monday - Friday
