We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Resource Management Senior Manager to join our Global Consulting Solutions team within our Advisory practice. This role can sit in any of our CohnReznick Offices on the East Coast.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

JOB SUMMARY.
We are seeking a seasoned senior manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consulting resource management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven record in managing consulting projects across multiple geographies. The candidate will act as a trusted advisor to practice leaders, providing strategic guidance and support. This role involves overseeing both the US and Offshore RM teams in the Global Solutions Consulting practice, fostering a growth-oriented environment, and leading change management initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for implementing process improvements, conducting workforce planning, and driving key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, the candidate will guide the team in generating and presenting business cases for new hires, offering valuable insights through advanced analytical work, and managing key KPI's to drive business success.
YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Resource Planning and Allocation
Develop and implement resource management strategies to ensure optimal allocation of resources across projects, balancing workload, and capacity with skillset.
Oversee the US and Offshore RM teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and high performance.
Promote collaboration across service lines and practices to support ongoing project needs and address resource allocation requests.
Conduct workforce planning, including capacity and leverage modeling analysis, to optimize resource allocation.
Build and manage offshore RM function ensuring seamless integration and effective communication between onshore and offshore resources.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Function as a trusted advisor to practice leaders, providing strategic guidance and support.
Foster a growth-oriented environment by developing and providing professional development opportunities for team members.
Guide the team in generating, analyzing, and presenting business cases for new hires, offering valuable input.
Monitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with business objectives. Make data driven decisions to optimize performance.
Proactively identify potential risks, offer effective recommendations for mitigation, and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Continuous Improvement
Lead change management initiatives, driving transformation and innovation within the organization.
Introduce new business processes and improve existing ones to optimize daily operations, scheduling, staff meetings, and reporting processes.
Enhance reporting maturity and deliver actionable insights through advanced analytical work, including developing data driven narratives and forecast presentations to deliver strategic solutions.
Identify opportunities for technology, including dashboarding and automation tools, to streamline processes and enhance data driven decision making.
YOUR EXPERIENCE.
The successful candidate will have:
4-year undergrad degree in Business Management/Administration or 4-year undergrad degree in accounting or finance.
Minimum of 8 years of resource management, primarily in Advisory client service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Advanced analytical skills with a high proficiency in Excel and focus on enhancing reporting maturity.
Extensive experience overseeing teams, including both onshore and offshore, with a history of fostering a growth-oriented environment.
Expertise in leading change management initiatives, driving transformation and innovation within an organization.
Proven ability to implement new processes, and mindset for continued and constant process enhancements.
Proficiency in workforce planning, including capacity and leverage modeling analysis.
Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives and effectively manage diverse personalities to achieve organizational goals.
Experience in building and managing offshore RM teams, establishing robust processes for offshore operations.
Proven track record of monitoring and driving key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with business objectives.
