Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring a CNC Machinist lV for an manufacturing company in El Cajon Ca.

As an CNC Machinist lV you will:

• Operates and adjusts machine settings to produce precision metal parts based on work orders or blueprints.
• Setup and operation of 3-5 axis CNC machines to including Lathes, Vertical Lathes, Mills, and Modified Mills for production of precision metal parts and materials
• Determines setup procedures, tooling needs, and machine operations using technical knowledge and instructions.
• Mounts, aligns, and secures tools and workpieces, starting and stopping automated machine operations.
• Monitors machines, identifies malfunctions, performs adjustments, and conducts routine maintenance as needed.
• Inspects finished materials to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Keeps machines and work areas clean, following 5S procedures.
• Maintains punctuality, follows supervisor directions, works well with others, and adheres to company policies.
• Participates in meetings to discuss safety, quality, and efficiency improvements.
• Identifies and suggests ways to improve machining processes and overall efficiency
• Actively supports and participates in continuous improvement activities

This is a Full-Time Temp-To-Tire opportunity

The ideal candidates will have:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating CNC Machines
• Experience with Mazak Mill and Mazak Turn
• Understanding of Machine Controls using Haas, Fanuc, and Mazak
• Knowledge of Geometric & Dimensioning & Tolerancing
• Ability to do feed and speed calculations
• Ability to set up cutting tools and do tool changes
• Ability to set up fixtures, clamping, and centering correctly
• Ability to read and write in English to comply with written instructions and complete documentation paperwork
• Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings, or templates

Schedule: 3RD SHIFT: Monday to Friday 11:30pm - 6:30am

**MUST TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT FOR 6-8 WEEKS (6:30AM-3PM)


Pay: $33-37 per hour (Plus 25% shift differential)
