Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Capital Markets Document Negotiator.
In this role, you will:
Prepare, negotiate and track various legal agreements covering the most complex derivative and fixed income transactions with bank counterparties, including without limitation, dealers, institutional and complex counterparties
Review legal agreements which include but are not limited to the International Swaps and Derivatives Association Master Agreement including schedules, Credit Support Annex, other credit support documents, North American Energy Standards Boards, Master Repurchase Agreements, Master Securities Forward Transaction Agreements and underlying authority documentation
Advise management of industry trends or issues based on recently negotiated transactions
Work on various projects, including amending and updating templates, processes or systems
Interpret policy when working with legal, credit and the relevant business
Review deal terms with customers
Identify and mitigate business and legal risks within compliance requirements
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement
Interpret policies, procedures and compliance requirements
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
Lead a team to achieve objectives
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Capital Markets Document Negotiation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
4+ years of Capital Markets Onboarding Document Negotiation experience
Experience with ISDA, CSA, Amendment document experience
Large Corporate and Sponsor document negotiation experience a plus
Institutional negotiations experience may be considered.
Experience in a client facing role.
Excellent understanding of the underlying transaction and security documents and be able to grasp and articulate basic credit, operational, legal and business issues which arise during the negotiation and execution processes
Job Expectations:
The base salary range for this role in NY, NY is $133,300-$$237,100
