The ideal candidate will have a strong tool making background, a focus on attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality parts. • Primary Responsibilities Include: o Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to develop machining instructions. o Set up sinker EDM machines by selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials. o Configure machine settings. o Verify the alignment and accuracy of workpieces in the machine. o Operate multiple sinker EDM machines with robotic automation to cut, shape, and finish parts to precise specifications. o Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as necessary o Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify component dimensions and quality o Interface with toolmakers, QC Inspection, and other personnel to assist in the routing, planning, problem solving, and expediting of components. o Keep area and equipment clean and in excellent running condition. o Follow systems processes for job tracking and recording. o Willingness to work between machining processes as needed, other duties as assigned. • Education & Experience: o Required: 5+ years of experience in tool making or mold making o Plus: EDM Experience Knowledge of injection molding Completion of trade school and/or Apprenticeship program • Required Skills: o Attention to detail o Organization o Strong oral and written commination o Detail Oriented o Problem Solving o Team Player o Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision Pasco Tool & Plastics is a precision tooling and injection molding supplier of custom components in Meadville, PA.
