Develop, analyze, and design databases using DDL, DML, Physical and Logical Data Modeling, Stored Procedures, DB Index Management, Normalization, de-normalization, Data replication, Reporting, ETL, and other related concepts.
Implement Data Warehouse concepts, including data mining, data marts, OLAP, etc.
Configure, test, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server, Business Intelligence Solutions, SQL Server Monitoring and Performance tools, and Database security.
Resolve database performance and capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.
Implement appropriate change management policies and processes.
Install, configure, and maintain database servers and related infrastructure.
Create/update documentation for new/existing maintenance and installation processes.
Execute ETL tasks in support of data loads.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
Implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
Required Skills:
7 years of experience as a Database Administrator and SQL Developer.
Expert-level skill in Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL Server).
Proficiency in Database Administration, Design, and Development.
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Advanced T-SQL and PowerShell skills.
Familiarity with SQL Server tools such as SSMS, SQL Profiler, Database Tuning Advisor, SQL Server Configuration Manager, DMVs, Extended Events, etc.
