Human Resource Manager

This position is located in Shenandoah, Iowa. This is not a remote position.  Candidate would live or commute to the SW IA location.

Starting Salary: $65,000-$75,000 annually

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent experience  Professional certification preferred.

 

Responsible for:

• - Organizational compliance in all employment and business practices
• - Oversight of HRIS, payroll, and employee benefits
• - Supervision of employees within the department
• - Participate as a member of Management Team, guiding the program, philosophy, policies, and procedures for all areas of services provided by the organization
• - Active participation in strategic planning and risk management
• - Oversee relationship with IT Management Contractor providing all IT services across the organization
• - Act as Safety Coordinator for the safety program
• - Maintain standards for CARF Accreditation in Human Resources, Safety, and IT
• - Understanding of Medicaid rules and regulations as they apply to areas of oversight
• - Handling of worker’s compensation and unemployment claims
• - Participation and leadership on various committees for the organization
