Global retailer is looking for an AWS Cloud Computer Engineer for their Shelton, CT location.
ON-SITE 4 days/week in Shelton, CT.
Role Overview
As a Cloud Engineer you will be specialized in Linux and Windows, you will be an integral part of the Infrastructure Engineering team. You will manage and optimize the Computer infrastructure Product across various global locations, overseeing dozen of Kubernetes clusters as well as thousands of servers deployed mainly in the cloud (AWS, Alibaba Cloud and GCP).
Responsibilities
Linux and Windows servers administration at large scale.
Manage multiple Kubernetes clusters.
Deployment of computer cloud resources as code.
Optimize cloud infrastructure resources (performances vs budget)
Develop internal tools and processes that improve efficiency and reduce operational risks.
Promote software development and DevOps practices.
Planning and implementation of technical projects with Jira.
Qualifications
Required:
Considerable knowledge of AWS Cloud.
Excellent experience in administration of Linux (Red hat, Ubuntu, Debian)
Excellent experience in administration of Windows Servers (2022, 2019, 2016)
Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
Considerable knowledge of Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
