STARTING PAY $24.00


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


• Will have direct reports so must be available to provide relief breaks, fill in for absenteeism, emergencies, and coordinate/train new hires. Must also assist in daily exercise routine prior to start of shift.


• Receiving: Complete all receiving and processing activities in a timely and accurate manner, confirming accuracy and details such as qty and UOM.


• Receiving: Ensure that once all goods are received in SAP, they are properly tagged with a Handling Unit and stored in the correct bin locations.


• Maintain accurate inventory levels: The team member is responsible for regularly monitoring and updating inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent shortages or excess stocking levels.


• Coordinate with various departments: The team member will work closely with other departments such as procurement, warehouse, and production to ensure timely and accurate inventory management and receiving.


• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies: The team member will conduct regular inventory audits and investigations to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.


• Optimize inventory processes: The team member will constantly review and improve inventory, logistics, and receiving processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.


• Monitor and track inventory movements: The team member will track all incoming and outgoing inventory to maintain accurate records and identify any patterns or trends.


• Communicate inventory updates: The team member will communicate any changes in inventory levels or potential issues to relevant team members and managers.


• Assist with inventory forecasting: The team member will analyze inventory data and assist in forecasting future inventory needs.


• Follow policies and procedures: The team member will follow and also ensure that policies and procedures are followed to maintain compliance and accuracy.


• Troubleshoot inventory issues: The team member will identify and troubleshoot any issues related to inventory management, such as delayed shipments or damaged products.


• Maintain a clean and organized inventory space: The team member will be responsible for keeping the inventory area clean, organized, and easily accessible for efficient inventory management.


• Adhere to safety standards: The team member will follow all safety protocols and regulations while handling inventory to ensure a safe working environment.


COMPETENCIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual should be willing to assist and perform all jobs in the department and have basic problem-solving abilities at a minimum as well as a high attention to detail.


6+ Months of Lead experience with one employer in the last 24 months required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, but not required. SAP experience preferred.


LANGUAGE SKILLS:


Ability to understand to be able to communicate needs for the department.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:


Basic math required for completion of inventory checks.


REASONING ABILITY:


Ability to understand instruction furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:


This position could work in any department of this meat processing facility. Standing, walking, bending, squatting, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching are required in all areas. Lifting 40 lbs. or more if required, able to stand 8-10 hours on hard floors and repetitive motions is required in many areas (weight depends on area). These positions work in a cold, damp environment and these areas have slippery walking surfaces.
