Job Description:
The Branson Tri-Lakes News is seeking a SPORTS reporter for Area High Schools to join our award-winning news team, who are dedicated to providing readers with accurate and in-depth local news, sports and entertainment.
The ideal candidate should have proficiency in writing and photography. A working knowledge of social media platforms, InDesign and Photoshop are a plus. While the primary responsibility of this position is to preview, attend and provide coverage of area sporting events, the candidate will additionally assist the news team with local coverage.
The candidate must be able to meet deadlines on multiple projects each week and motivated to develop sources and connections within the community. Candidates must also be a self-starter, excited to learn new things and enthusiastic about being part of a team.
