We are seeking a dynamic Industrial Control Systems Assistant to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of control systems within our production facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of industrial control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
Support troubleshooting and diagnostics of control system issues to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance teams to implement control system upgrades and improvements.
Support the implementation of cyber security solutions according to the latest industry standards.
Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation for control systems, including schematics, diagrams, and manuals.
Monitor control system performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and reliability.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all control system activities.
Participate in training sessions and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Provide support during system audits and inspections.
Requirements:
Associate degree in Automation, Computer Science or a related field preferred.
Basic understanding of industrial control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems (e.g. Ignition).
Basic knowledge of programming and configuring PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
Familiarity with programming languages, such as .net, python, SQL.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is a plus.
Familiarity with safety protocols and standards in an industrial environment.
