Job Description:

We are currently looking to hire a Project Manager for one of our clients, who are global leaders in the production of Clean Energy. This role will oversee a number of their sites and manage the full project lifecycle of their RNG plants.the renewable energy industry, specializing in the conversion of organic waste into renewable energy resources. They are one of the world's leading renewable fuel producers and are truly focused on reducing global carbon emissions, protecting the environment, and sustaining life for generations to come.

The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of renewable natural gas projects. This role involves managing project teams, maintaining schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, and exceeding customer expectations. This is a pivotal role in a growing business and, as such, will offer you a great opportunity for rapid career progression.

Below is a list of the key responsibilities for the role, whilst not exhaustive, that you'll need to be able to perform:
  • Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timeline.
  • Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring costs are kept within the agreed limits.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Identify potential project risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Implement and monitor risk management plans throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Set priorities, manage conflicts, and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Oversee the implementation of quality assurance and control plans, ensuring project deliverables meet required standards.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to stakeholders, detailing project status, risks, and issues.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, plans, and correspondence.
  • Manage the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.

To be successful in the role, you'll need at least 5 years of project management experience within the Solid Waste / Wastewater / Biogas / Power Generation specific markets, as well as holding a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
