We provide video gaming terminals, redemption terminals and amusement devices (pool tables, juke boxes, dart boards, etc.) to bars, restaurants, convenience stores, truck stops and fraternal and veteran establishments across the country.

Director of Strategic Projects

The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, high growth environment. The Director of Strategic Projects has an incredible opportunity to work side-by-side with Accel's CEO and Executive Team to drive the company's overall growth and execution. We are looking for a well-rounded, self-motivator who can move seamlessly between analytical and qualitative tasks, has strong interpersonal skills, enjoys being challenged and is eager to play a critical role in Accel's next phase of growth. This candidate should be able to think critically, focusing on immediate initiatives while problem solving in real time. It will be necessary to champion a "winning together" mentality and style, working extremely well across all multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the CEO, President and CFO in M&A strategy efforts to help drive integration of synergistic acquisitions
  • Lead cross-functional, high-impact projects that enable revenue growth and improve company profitability and efficiency
  • Successfully implement strategic initiatives and monitor performance metrics to ensure desired results.
  • Track performance metrics to ensure desired results are being achieved
  • Collaborate with executives and division managers on cross-company projects.

  • Independence: Strong follow through and ability to see projects to completion without significant oversight required

Requirements
  • 2+ years of strategy and/or operations consulting experience (Strongly preferred)
  • 6+ years of operations and strategy
  • MBA Preferred
  • Solid operational experience with the desire to join an organization that will provide a platform for personal growth and a path to one day run a business
  • Proven track record of success in improving organizational processes
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • The leadership and presence to ultimately be a GM/CEO
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills as well as attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate in the weeds and strategically--balance the details with the big picture.
  • 50% travel
  • Open to relocation
