The Director of Operations in this organization plays a pivotal role in steering the organization towards achieving its operational objectives and ensuring optimal performance across all departments. This senior management position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations, improving operational processes, and aligning them with business goals. As a member of the leadership team, this role ensures efficient management of resources, maintains quality control, and drives the team towards exceeding performance metrics.
The Director of Operations is responsible for production planning, production management, inventory management, quality control, production health and safety issues, maintenance and replacement of production equipment, and enforcing company policies.

Key Responsibilities
Overseeing resource allocation and budgeting, ensuring cost-efficiency and financial strength.
Enhancing operational systems, processes, and best practices for improved efficiency and performance to determine company's strategic growth as part of the executive team.
Managing relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors to foster strategic partnerships.
Conducting performance evaluations and implementing necessary changes to meet business objectives.
Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations relevant to the operations of the organization.
Leading, motivating, and developing a high-performing operational team.
Monitoring operational performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports.
Addressing operational challenges and finding cost-effective solutions to enhance productivity.
Collaborating with HR to recruit skilled talent and ensure adequate training and development programs are in place.
Reviewing and refining operational risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks.
Regularly reviewing customer feedback and initiating improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field desired
Extensive experience (10+ years) in an operations management role, demonstrating a track record of operational success and team leadership.
Strong understanding of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements (production, machinery (CNC, Robots), manufacturing, etc.
Advanced skills in strategic planning, resource management, and business analytics.
