Job Summary:

The S&S Truck Parts is a seeking an energetic and tenacious product data analyst to be responsible for the accuracy of product attribute and vehicle application data.

Our company seeks a well-organized, detail-oriented Product Data Analyst to ensure timely product data entry, data accuracy and integrity. The Product Data Analyst will develop a thorough understanding of our automotive and truck replacement product data and be trained on the present system. Once trained in the system and products, they will be able to manage product data for entire product lines. The Product Data Analyst will also play a critical role in improving service delivery and operational efficiencies with data transfers to our business partners and customers.

As we are in the automotive and truck aftermarket, those with relevant experience in this environment are preferred.

Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:
  • Use your expertise with the ACES & PIES aftermarket data schema to manage all of our product attribute and application information.
  • Expand and support the Product Information Management (PIM) system for all affiliates of S&S.
  • Proactively analyze and resolve any issues related to product information.
  • Mass update product data directly, using SQL.
  • Leverage PIM expertise to support new initiatives from Marketing, Sales, NPI, etc.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors.
  • Accurately research, enter, validate, and maintain data to support our company's product offerings.
  • Perform regular data integrity checks and updates using SQL Management Studio.
  • Work closely with the product development team, to quickly onboard new aftermarket parts.
  • Provide timely exports of product data to customers, distributors, and business partners at times utilizing third party data providers.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data anomalies using problem-solving, logic, and critical thinking to ensure that the company has the most complete and accurate product data possible.
  • Provide ongoing data and product upload support to our customer base through upload templates.
  • Generate and review data output, client reports, and other assessments to ensure their overall accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established standards.
  • Work with the product developers and operational teams to identify and document opportunities for systems and process improvements.

Job Skills and Qualifications/Knowledge and Skills:
  • Experience with automotive and heavy-duty truck aftermarket product lines.
  • Extensive knowledge of industry specific formats, ACES and PIES.
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel. Must be comfortable with pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Database experience with Microsoft Access and/or Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Able to work in a very fast-paced environment and hit deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Screening Requirements: Drug Screen, Criminal Background Check
