Are you a seasoned engineering professional with a passion for leading complex projects and driving innovation in the food manufacturing industry? Our client is looking for an exceptional Engineering Project Manager to join their dynamic team and lead multiple capital projects to success!
What You'll Do:
Lead the execution of all phases of capital projects: Initiating, Planning, Execution, Testing, Turnover, and Closure.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
Develop and implement engineering solutions to complex challenges, leveraging your technical expertise and creativity.
Provide leadership and guidance to a diverse team of engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Utilize negotiation skills to "sell" projects through the capital approval process.
Foster and maintain relationships with external engineering partners and ensure adherence to our performance-driven project standards.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
8+ years of engineering or relevant experience
Minimum 5 years of experience managing multiple capital projects of at least $1M.
Strong project management skills with a focus on large, complex projects, technical support, and cost/budget management.
Experience with SAP-S4 HANA is a plus.
Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to develop business cases and technical feasibility plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP® certification.
Background in the food industry or manufacturing practices/automation industry.
Experience with high technology utilization automation and SAP training (transitioning to S4 HANA).
Sample Projects:
Leading updates for facility conditions to optimize clients plant operations during the summer.
Completing a Waste Water Treatment project.
Installing a new production line in facility
