This classroom has been without a teacher for two years. So the parent community has organized this recruitment campaign. How does a class not have a teacher? Well, it's hard to recruit teachers in San Francisco. Even harder to find special-ed teachers. Hopefully, this campaign will lead us to you.
The pay range is listed below. It starts at $66,000 and goes up to $125,000. Plus medical, dental, and vision. In addition, we'll be supporting the classroom with the supplies you'll need throughout the year - and whatever we can do to make your year(s) successful.

The neighborhood is Sunnyside/Ingleside, with Ocean Ave running through and home to City College. It's is a walking-friendly neighborhood with lots of shops and grocery stores. The Balboa Bart station is three blocks from the school, which means that it's quick access to most parts of San Francisco, East Bay, and South.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Passion for special education
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
Special education moderate/severe credential in CA or NY.
If you are committed to teaching special ed and have a bachelor's degree, that works! The district can make an exemption to the credential requirement for you - as long as you're committed to pursuing the credentialing program.
