CUMULUS MEDIA | Dallas is searching for a Promotions Coordinator. The position assists the promotions, programming, and sales departments with daily activities to execute and promote successful station(s) and client events, promotions and contests. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, quick thinking, creative, great at problem solving, has a passion for pop culture and music, organized, must have reliable transportation, and is able to work nights and weekends as needed. Must have the ability to follow instructions, be punctual and a high sense of responsibility are essential to this position. The ability to communicate effectively and work well with fellow workers, clients and other Cumulus staff members is a very important.

Key Responsibilities:
Attend meetings and participate in phone and email conversations to plan events and event logistics - including sales and programming events.
Collaborates with multiple departments to create and execute promotions such as remotes, events, van hits and other street team activities from start to finish.
Drives and maintains promotional vehicles.
Performs basic office administrative functions.
Conducts on-site promotions and handles clients and listeners.
Posts to station(s) social media pages to promote events and promotions.
Contacts contest winners, on-air, online and at events, to communicate prize fulfillment process.
Ensures contest winners receive the correct prize in a timely manner.
May be responsible for recording events (i.e., photos, videos, audio, and social media measures for station promotions).
Sets up, breaks down and transports promotional event equipment as required.
Update station(s) website with station(s) event/appearance information & contest information.
Works with Promotions Director to prepares contest rules, waivers, and release forms for on air, digital, social media, and other contests.
Maintain prize inventory for events.
May coordinate and oversee on-site appearances, remotes, and events.
Manages part time promotions staff (up to 20) and responsible for scheduling part time staff for station/client events.
Maintains the station(s) event/appearance schedule. Works with Sales Department to schedule client events.
