The Sharonville plant is co-located with the headquarters of DuBois Chemicals, and is the largest manufacturing facility in the company. The facility manufactures a broad range of powder and liquid products, used in industrial and commercial applications. Products include transportation cleaning, food facility cleaning & sanitation, water treatment, and a range of industrial cleaning and process fluids.
The EHS&S Manager will be a vitally important member of the facility management team, leading continuous improvement in EHS&S, and providing key leadership for ongoing changes in manufacturing capabilities that are needed to support business growth.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage environmental, health, safety, and security programs at the Sharonville, Ohio manufacturing facility.
- Work closely with the facility management team to build a positive safety and environmental stewardship culture.
- Lead the Sharonville plant Safety Committee and implement Behavior-Based Safety practices throughout the facility.
- Lead routine safety and DOT / hazardous materials training for all manufacturing employees.
- Lead resource conservation efforts, ranging from water and energy use to implementing best-practices for minimizing wastewater and solid waste.
- Serve as the Sharonville facility's primary contact with environmental and safety regulatory agencies.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Highly collaborative with excellent teamwork skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as an EHS&S professional, including serving as a facility lead for safety and environmental compliance. Chemical industry experience preferred.
- Experience managing facility security.
- Experience completing Tier II, TRI, RCRA reports, OSHA logs, and other similar requirements.
- Ability to walk frequently, climb stairs and work in an industrial environment.
EDUCATION REQUREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or similar technical field.
